Presentation designers really do help teams focus on the message rather than the slides, and I saw that during a group project where layout took over our prep time. I had a similar problem with my own site last year, spending evenings on design instead of client work, until a website redesign handled it properly. It freed my time for the parts I actually enjoy. Sometimes outside help is the fastest way forward.
