I’ve been hearing more about construction claims consulting being used on projects where delays, variations, and cost issues start building up and I’m trying to understand when it actually becomes useful in practice rather than just being an added layer of input. From what I’ve seen so far, some teams bring consultants in early to help organize documentation and assess positions, while others only involve them once a dispute is already underway. For people who’ve experienced it, did consulting support genuinely help reduce friction and clarify issues, or did it mainly depend on how both parties were already approaching the situation?
